e-SPECS family of products includes the right solution for your needs
with an upgrade path to include more functionality, benefits and value
as your needs grow. e-SPECS with CAD/BIM integration has been available
commercially since 2004 and is used by the industry leading firms
across the globe.
e-SPECS Linx includes the e-SPECS Checklist filtering of master
specs and the e-SPECS Editor to quickly edit specifications without
CAD/BIM integration. e-SPECS Linx includes the product browsing and
research tools, reporting, importing of consulting sections and production
of the complete project manual with automated TOC, H/F and style based
formatting. If you are looking to reduce your time and cost in writing
construction specifications, but not ready for the CAD/BIM integration
then e-SPECS Linx is for you.
e-SPECS for Revit automates the process of creating specification
manuals integrated with all Autodesk Revit-based applications. e-SPECS
for Revit includes the e-SPECS Binding Manager to link Revit families
to your master guide specs automatically including and filtering the
sections based on the families and parameters in the BIM Model. e-SPECS
for Revit includes all the functionality within e-SPECS Linx such
as the e-SPECS Checklist and Editor. This enables additional sections
to be inserted via the checklist to compliment your BIM integration
as well as the ability to create project manuals without any Revit
integration. e-SPECS for Revit is a floating network licensed application
and includes one single user license of e-SPECS Desktop Markup Tool
and e-SPECS Revit Plug-In Console.
e-SPECS Revit Plug-In Console
The e-SPECS Revit Plug-In provides the ability for Revit 2008 and
newer applications to integrate the BIM data with the e-SPECS server,
viewing and marking up specs related to Revit families, validation
of Revit families bound and not yet bound to specifications creation
of project specific coordinated Keynotes, and access to e-SPECS Building
Product Manufacturer BIM objects.
e-SPECS for AutoCAD integrates with Autodesk AutoCAD® based applications
using the AutoCAD API integrating the drawings and specifications.
e-SPECS recognizes standard AutoCAD elements (text, Mtext, keynotes,
hatch patterns, etc.) or complex drawing objects and material definitions
in AutoDesk AutoCAD Architecture and MEP applications. e-SPECS for
AutoCAD includes one single user license of e-SPECS Desktop and the
e-SPECS AutoCAD Plug-in may be installed on as many PCs as necessary
to export the DWG information to the e-SPECS database.
e-SPECS Desktop provides access for reviewing, redlining markups,
posting and responding to project notes, and accessing the Internet
for product and material research. It is ideal for team members that
actively participate in reviewing and approving the construction document
package.
e-SPECS Designer is an application for managing custom office masters.
Whether the customer wishes to extend the integrated MasterSpec®
sections or has their own set of custom sections, e-SPECS Designers
enables importing of DOC/RTF files, automatic checklist tag creation,
paragraph and text mappings and requisite language pertinent to the
products being used and firm's design preferences. For those senior
specifiers adding section comments/notes and working endlessly to
train others within the firm on how to edit specifications, e-SPECS
Designer is the application to facilitate high quality and consistent
spec manuals using a simplified checklist for users. The resulting
checklist tags and mappings can then be bound to the CAD / BIM models
enable further automation and coordination.
e-SPECS Training and Services
Customers may opt for the popular e-SPECS Revit Pilot Integration
Program whereby their first Revit model is integrated for them reducing
their learning curve. Additional training services include on-site
or webcast e-SPECS Training and/or the e-SPECS Self Paced Training
Videos available anytime you need. Services include CAD/BIM integration,
custom guide master integration and specification writing and reviews.
BPMs interested in getting specified in more construction projects
should join the e-SPECS BPM Program. BPMs can have their product specifications
distributed directly to the desktops of designers, architects, engineers
and specifiers rather than hoping their customers find them through
the internet. The e-SPECS BIM integration automates the process of
including e-SPECS BPM Members into spec manuals when their products
are used in the BIM model.
It's worth a deeper look, we promise. View
