InterSpec Releases e-SPECS® Version 4.2
with BPM Content, More Revit Integration Bindings "Out of the Box"
and Extended Parametric Support
April 23, Portland, ME - InterSpec, Inc. ("InterSpec") announces
the release of version 4.2 of e-SPECS® with new functionality
and Building Product Manufacturer (BPM) BIM Content. As architects,
engineers and BPMs develop Revit families, they can be assured of
accurate and coordinated construction specifications and keynotes
using e-SPECS v4.2 BIM parametric values.
The new e-SPECS BPM Library provides a higher probability of getting
specified into projects leveraging the BPM's investment in BIM Objects.
No longer will their Revit content be used in a 3D model without getting
specified into the construction specification manual. When Architects
and Engineers design in Autodesk Revit using BPM objects, their proprietary
specifications automatically get included in the project manual through
the e-SPECS automation. BPMs developing objects representing many
different flavors of their products benefit from the e-SPECS Binding
technology to include the correct specification for the products used
in the Revit model.
New e-SPECS version 4.2 functionality includes:
e-SPECS for Revit
- Over 200 new Uniformat Assemblies with e-SPECS Bindings to
MasterSpec enables more "out-of-the-box" integration
- Extended the e-SPECS bindings to include additional family
parametric values which enables more automation in developing
the coordinated construction specifications
