Additional Round of Capital -
Adds New Member to Board of Directors
PORTLAND, Maine - August 2001 -- InterSpec, LLC,
the premier provider of online construction specification services
to architects and designers nationwide, announced today that
it has secured its next round of financing from both private
investors and the Small Enterprise Growth Fund (SEGF), a State
of Maine sponsored venture capital fund. In addition, Mark Tilly,
co-founder of the Portland-based company I-many, has been named
to the company's board of directors.

shown their support in our initiatives with this additional
funding," said Michael Brennan, president of InterSpec.
"To date, the market acceptance of our unique services
and internet delivery mechanisms has been encouraging, and this
investment will help us refine our technology and hire additional
spec writers to continue our growth plans," continued Mr.
Brennan.
This next round of financing will help the company
continue the development of its e-SPECS Automated Specification
Management System, as well as other product development initiatives.
Adding his talents to the board of directors
is Mark Tilly. Mr. Tilly is the co-founder of I-many, the leader
in contract management software solutions, primarily to the
health care industry.
