e-SPECS
Designer enables firms to customize the AIA MASTERSPEC® to suit
their design firm preferences as well as integrate custom Office Master
sections. Firms reusing specs from old projects or trying to maintain
their own set of office masters with the continuously updated industry
codes, products and manufacturers need a tool to centralize this information
for everyone in the firm to use. Firms managing office masters for
various building types (schools, healthcare, LEED projects, retail,
etc.) can centralize the data in the e-SPECS SQL Server reducing the
management and maintenance of this critical data and letting the e-SPECS
CAD and BIM automation choose the appropriate preferences for each
design type.

and editing functions as well as be linked to BIM and CAD objects
in a fraction of the time required previously. Firms managing multiple
masters can reduce their maintenance efforts by integrating these
masters allowing the e-SPECS automation to determine which language
to use and which to filter out. Even Division 1 and other sections
not linked to a BIM or CAD object can be automated and coordinated.
